当初在美国中西部的小城——浣熊市爆发了一场生化危机。
结果在警方的调查之下，发现原来是“伞”开设在市郊阿克力山区的秘密研究所中发生了病毒泄漏事故。
病毒很快蔓延到整个城市，市民们大批地变成丧尸，整个城市很快变成了人间地狱。
事态最后严重到美国政府不得不动用军队来处理此次事件，结果导致整个浣熊市彻底消失。
事件发生之后，美国政府下令，冻结了“伞”的所有资产。
结果很快股价暴跌，“伞”因此彻底完蛋了。
