《指环王》这部堪称有史以来最经典的史诗巨著给全球亿万观众留下了难以磨灭的印象。
其中的人物也成为我人们心目中的偶像，而在这其中，我们也能找到自己的影子。
《指环王》最主要的任务莫过于由四个霍比特人（弗罗多、山姆、皮聘、梅林、）和勒古拉斯、亚拉冈、波若莫、金雳和甘道夫所组成的魔戒远征队。
在这九人当中，包含了绝大多数人的影子。
先说一下大概的剧情。
由于第一部中甘道夫的“死亡”，导致魔戒远征队分成了两部分，一部分是由弗罗多、山姆所组成，主要任务是到达摩多，摧毁魔戒。
而其余人等辗转各处来分散魔君索伦的注意力以争取时间，故事到了这里也就展开了两条主线。
除此之外，在《指环王》三部曲当中还有许多的主线人物，其中为故事的发展起了巨大的推进作用的就是被魔戒整的不成人形的前霍比特人——史密戈，也称咕噜。
他曾经真的想成为好人，为自己的主人尽忠，但是因为种种误会，使咕噜对自己的恩公弗罗多充满憎恨，将弗罗多引到了大蜘蛛那里，弗罗多险些送命，幸好山姆及时赶来，并碰巧的走进了摩多。
可谁知咕噜并不死心，跟到了末日火山，咬断了弗罗多的手指，又一次得到了魔戒。
最后这个将魔戒奉为至宝的不成人形的人同他心爱的魔戒一起掉进了末日火山的熔岩之中，一起融化了。
还有就是大反派萨鲁曼。
他面对新兴的摩多黑暗势力竟然不战而降，正义势力大受打击，而他的变节也导致了众多忠义之士的死亡。
其实他这么做也不是错。
屈服于强大的势力应该是很多人的做法，更何况这个世界上本没有绝对的对错正邪，这一切只是相对而言的。
而索伦一旦成功（说实话，要是现实的话索伦一定会赢的，因为正义的胜利包含了太多的巧合）萨鲁曼的做法就可以说是从历史的客观角度上讲推动了历史的进步，使机械时代的到来提前了若干年。
其实这个故事说到底还是对抗索伦的战争，索伦作为最大的反派竟然连句话都没说过，还真是有些搞不明白哦。
《指环王》，这部经典中的经典影响了整整一代人，是他让我们拥有了一个不切实际的幻想，但是谁又在乎他是否真的符合实际呢

The Fellowship of the Ring begins in the quiet countryside of the Shire, where Bilbo Baggins of Bag End (Ian Holm), a hobbit, is celebrating his 111th birthday. Gandalf informs Bilbo that the time has come for him to leave Bag End and go on a journey. But this isn't just any magical ring - it is the One Ring, forged by the Dark Lord, Sauron, and capable of corrupting the wearer. 《指环王》共分三部，前两部各三个多小时，第三部超过了四个小时。

在这个过程中，人类由先前的权力纷争所引起的四分五裂逐渐走向团结以共同保卫家园，他们抛弃了种族观念，忘掉了私人恩怨，团结着精灵、树人、亡灵等一切可以团结的力量，打败了声势浩大的魔界大军。
同时，魔戒的毁灭，预示着尚未积聚足够力量复活的魔君索伦的彻底终结，也宣告着人类在与魔界的斗争中的完全胜利。
在与魔界大军的正面作战中，人皇亚拉冈功不可没。
在完成毁灭魔戒的任务中，佛罗多与山姆九死一生。
亚拉冈帮助、召集、组织各王国人民奋起反抗魔界大军。
魔界大军是由半兽人组成，他们数量极多、作战勇猛、武器精良，坚固的城堡在魔界大军的面前显得形同虚设，人民个个面如土色，绝望笼罩着数量不多的人类军队。
亚拉冈总是身先士卒地往来冲杀，给士兵们极大地鼓舞，他的动情演讲和实际行动使士兵们士气大增，以一当十。

除了正面迎敌的军队，还有一支九人魔戒远征队，在即将进入魔多的时候，包括亚拉冈在内的其他人都投入到了正面迎敌中，佛罗多和山姆则负责带魔戒进入魔多，并将魔戒带到末日火山，丢到火山熔岩中彻底销毁。
九人的魔戒远征队，从开始就遭遇着魔界军队的围追堵截，再加上高山险阻不断，困难重重自然可想而知，毕竟人数还算够用，到达魔多的任务还是较为顺利地完成了。
但进入魔多后，为了减小目标，只能将最后的任务交付给佛罗多自己完成，而山姆不愿与佛罗多分开，最终他们两个结伴去面对前面的挑战。
提到山姆，他在进入魔多前一直是个可有可无的人，一次偶然，听到了甘道夫对佛罗多讲魔戒传说，并知道了魔戒在佛罗多的手中，知晓此事必然逃脱不了干系，只得与佛罗多成为了一条绳上的蚂蚱。
魔戒远征队组建的时候，山姆本不在邀请处理魔戒会议的行列中，但他一直在偷听，并最终自告奋勇成了远征队的一名队员。
进入魔多时，佛罗多本想独自去，但山姆又在这关键当口，舍命相陪。
从此山姆便彻底地与佛罗多拴在了一起，山姆也不再是一个可有可无的人了。
有山姆的陪伴，佛罗多在心理上战胜了孤独，在地理上战胜了高山绝壁，并一路相帮相助地逃脱了围追堵截。
进入魔多，最大的困难还不在山高路险，敌人太多，不知道通往末日火山的路才是最大的问题。
夺取魔戒的咕噜史麦戈及时地解决了这个问题，他带着两个人去末日火山，并准备在路上偷走魔戒。
