电影的内容是，帕克的父亲是科学家作文，而他把自己研制的变异蜘蛛给全部杀死了，有一天，帕克的父亲和母亲玛丽需要完成一项任务，所以就去了罗斯福，但在客机上他们遇到了敌人，帕克的父亲在客机上用枪破了个大洞，最后客机坠入了水中，不知道他们死了还是活着。
帕克长大后，被变异蜘蛛咬了一口，成为了蜘蛛侠，用自己的超能力惩奸除恶，人们都很喜欢他，有一个罪犯带着两个兄弟去抢夺一种珍贵的物品，但在半路上被蜘蛛侠抓住了，有一个拿着图纸的人，他的名字叫秋龙，而他被人们碰掉了图纸，这时，蜘蛛侠飞了过来帮他捡起了图纸，还给了秋龙，就这样他们成为了朋友。
有一天，秋龙该下班了，可是一个领导让他把电源修好，而秋龙没办法，只能按照他说地去做。
秋龙让一个工作人员把电源关死，可是，那个人已经走了，秋龙把电源插好的那一瞬间，被电着了，他掉进了一个装满电鳗的水缸里，电鳗一咬他，他就会触电，他被电的不堪设想，但是它变成了电光人，一个电人。
电光人走进了人群密集的时候，他才知道了自己很不受欢迎，警察拿这枪对着电光人扫射，这时蜘蛛侠来到了现场，人们高兴急了，电光人十分愤怒，下定决心要杀掉蜘蛛侠，而蜘蛛侠知道了他的弱点，然后就用水枪把他给暂时打败了。
但是有人把它放了出来，并送给他了一套盔甲，一场大战即将上演了，而在战争中，蜘蛛侠的女朋友前往此地，帮助蜘蛛侠打败了电光人，电光人就这样死了，可惜，她也在战争中死去了。
帕克非常伤心，这时候他找到了一个U盘，听了听他女朋友的录音，鼓足了勇气继续作蜘蛛侠，消灭敌人。
