- La Traviata Du HouganCamellia drilled in a corner. A cold, dark, damp, there is no corner of the sun, it is food. However, this Camellia but than other camellias, and any other flowers beautiful, beautiful and elegant, beautiful, beautiful delude one to folly. But all sunshine flowers is yearning. Try, try a little harder, touch the sunshine in the moment of camellias, because the sun in it moist and delicate moment, the wind was broken, it was cold in the corner, unable to climb up again, to touch the reach of sunshine. God is merciful, in order to make up for the fate of its injustice, never let it fade away after the death, but keep it a beautiful world left.Margaret's tragic love story is so. A young woman in the debauchery and no purpose in life is to find true love, to give up a lot of material be accustomed to enjoy himself, gave up everything to make himself happy for the erosion life habit, only for the sake of the people to love and stay together. From the deep mire climb out, it takes great effort and determination, but also to minimize water pollution by mud. Margaret did, and do very well. Can be so great to pay, is still not understand and out of people, but also selfish and malicious people. Great resistance to eventually make Margaret and his wife separated, misunderstanding makes love to her most in need of comfort to her, this is what a painful thing? Perhaps really only death can save her. Yes, Margaret is dead, die alone, never extravagant life, had countless lovers also forget her. Living life is a death, when he is quiet.Perhaps, Margaret is not completely tragic character, at least, she got a true love, her soul has been purified. People only see a lady of her life and enjoy the luxury, but do not know her noble sentiment is yourself. Strange people in capitalist society, I disdain dissolute prostitutes, but forced prostitution. If Margaret had not been born in such a dirty, hypocritical, cruel capitalist era, perhaps she is the virgin Maria. Unfortunately, that society, that era, even the virgin will be defiled. And in Margaret ravished drums, tenacious and the Holy Spirit was readers secretly cry. Thanks Xiaozhong Ma La Traviata created such a sad but beautiful and respectable woman. However, I hope that has again dead flowers sprout from the soil, rebirth, away from the dark corner, and every day to the sun as partners, even less beautiful, also do not repeat past the tragedy.
Sense and Sensibility was the first Jane Austen published. Though she initially called it Elinor and Marianne, Austen jettisoned both the title and the epistolary mode in which it was originally written, but kept the essential theme: the necessity of finding a workable middle ground between passion and reason. The story revolves around the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. Whereas the former is a sensible, rational creature, her younger sister is wildly romantic--a characteristic that offers Austen plenty of scope for both satire and compassion. Commenting on Edward Ferrars, a potential suitor for Elinor's hand, Marianne admits that while she loves him tenderly, she finds him disappointing as a possible lover for her sister. Soon however, Marianne meets a man who measures up to her ideal: Mr. Willoughby, a new neighbor. So swept away by passion is Marianne that her behavior begins to border on the scandalous. Then Willoughby abandons her; meanwhile, Elinor's growing affection for Edward suffers a check when he admits he is secretly engaged to a childhood sweetheart. How each of the sisters reacts to their romantic misfortunes, and the lessons they draw before coming finally to the requisite happy ending forms the heart of the novel. Though Marianne's disregard for social conventions and willingness to consider the world well-lost for love may appeal to modern readers, it is Elinor whom Austen herself most evidently admired; a truly happy marriage, she shows us, exists only where sense and sensibility meet and mix in proper measure. This article is from internet, only for studying!《呼啸山庄》读后感: Published in 1847, WUTHERING HEIGHTS was not well received by the reading public, many of whom condemned it as sordid, vulgar, and unnatural--and author Emily Bronte went to her grave in 1848 believing that her only novel was a failure. It was not until 1850, when WUTHERING HEIGHTS received a second printing with an introduction by Emily's sister Charlotte, that it attracted a wide readership. And from that point the reputation of the book has never looked back. Today it is widely recognized as one of the great novels of English literature. Even so, WUTHERING HEIGHTS continues to divide readers. It is not a pretty love story; rather, it is swirling tale of largely unlikeable people caught up in obsessive love that turns to dark madness. It is cruel, violent, dark and brooding, and many people find it extremely unpleasant. And yet--it possesses a grandeur of language and design, a sense of tremendous pity and great loss that sets it apart from virtually every other novel written. The novel is told in the form of an extended flashback. After a visit to his strange landlord, a newcomer to the area desires to know the history of the family--which he receives from Nelly Deans, a servant who introduces us to the Earnshaw family who once resided in the house known as Wuthering Heights. It was once a cheerful place, but Old Earnshaw adopted a Gipsy child who he named Heathcliff. And Catherine, daughter of the house, found in him the perfect companion: wild, rude, and as proud and cruel as she. But although Catherine loves him, even recognizes him as her soulmate, she cannot lower herself to marry so far below her social station. She instead marries another, and in so doing sets in motion an obsession that will destroy them all. WUTHERING HEIGHTS is a bit difficult to get into; the opening chapters are so dark in their portrait of the end result of this obsessive love that they are somewhat off-putting. But they feed into the flow of the work in a remarkable way, setting the stage for one of the most remarkable structures in all of literature, a story that circles upon itself in a series of repetitions as it plays out across two generations. Catherine and Heathcliff are equally remarkable, both vicious and cruel, and yet never able to shed their impossible love no matter how brutally one may wound the other. As the novel coils further into alcoholism, seduction, and one of the most elaborately imagined plans of revenge it gathers into a ghostly tone: Heathcliff, driven to madness by a woman who is not there but who seems reflected in every part of his world--dragging her corpse from the grave, hearing her calling to him from the moors, escalating his brutality not for the sake of brutality but so that her memory will never fade, so that she may never leave his mind until death itself. Yes, this is madness, insanity, and there is no peace this side of the grave or even beyond. It is a stunning novel, frightening, inexorable, unsettling, filled with unbridled passion that makes one cringe. Even if you do not like it, you should read it at least once--and those who do like it will return to it again and again.

Impressions after reading Charlotte's WebCharlotte's Web is a wonderful and entertaining book, which written by E B.White. It mainly talks about the friendship between a spring pig and a spider.A spring pig, just a simple pig wants to see the winter snow. But it should be killed at the Christmas dinner. The pig lived in the farm, where also lived many other kinds of animals, such as horses, cows, geese, a rat and a spider. And who is Charlotte ? It is the spider. At first, when the little pig came into the house, other animals didn’t like him, except a spider. She asked him be quiet so that she could work hard at night, and she would like to make friends with the pig. It made the pig so happy that he had a nice sleep. And then they became good friends. The pig told the spider that his dream, then the spider promised that she would help him to make his dream come true. In the way she made some miracles to make people know the pig cannot be killed. At last, the pig saw the winter snow but the spider died. However, the pig knew the spider was always living nearby him.The spider said that she wasn’t the maker of those miracles but the pig was, because of the friendship, the great friendship. It is so moving. So remember we also can make miracles as long as we make more friendship with others. Let’s make the world more friendly, more harmoniously. How to make friends with others? What should we do about it? I think the spider, Charlotte , has given us a good example. In order to stop the pig, who named Wilbur, from being killed at Christmas dinner, Charlotte has the idea of writing words in her web extolling Wilbur's excellence, such as “some pig”. Thanks to Charlotte 's efforts, Wilbur not only lives, but also goes to the county fair with Charlotte and wins a prize. Charlotte ’s action holds the point of view that it is widely accepted that helping others and doing others good should be encouraged. That means it is a great pleasure to do others a favor when they are in trouble.I can’t agree more with the spider’s action, because I felt pleased and satisfied at heart every time when I managed to help others. Sometimes anyone in society may get stuck and need assistance, and at this time people around shouldn’t be mean to do them a favor. As a consequence, to construct a harmonious society, the demand of the spirit of helping others is restless. As long as we put our heart to help others, we will make more friends with others. Only in this way can we make a harmonious society.
