寒假开始第一天，喜欢陪妈妈的我，跟着妈妈来到菜场买菜。

于是在妈妈的帮助下，我找到了一本叫《植物未解之谜》的书，书中新鲜的内容和有趣的图解很快吸引我的注意力。
从这本书中我知道了莴苣具有镇静和止痛的作用，它的拉丁文叫：lactuca,其中lac有牛奶的意思，是指这种植物身上可以流出白色带苦味的乳状汁液。
我还看到许多其他的神奇的植物和 自然界中蕴藏的奥妙。
我印象最深的是白蚁和鸡枞。
我们都知道鸡枞是一味味道特别鲜美的菌丝类生物，可是令人奇怪的却是它同其他菌丝类生物不一样，它生长在白蚁的巢穴中或是白蚁出入频繁的地方。
那么为什么会这样呢
原来是白蚁把鸡枞的种子当做食物带到了白蚁的巢穴中，鸡枞又利用白蚁巢穴的适宜温度和湿度环境生存下来，并且它将白蚁的废物——排泄物合理应用，当自己生产的营养成分，来更好得生长。
而白蚁又以鸡枞的菌丝为食物。
两者之间依靠彼此，共同生存。
由此，我想到了我们人类，在很多地方都应该像植物学习。
为什么植物能和不同类的动物共同生存呢?而我们人，有时候却不能和自己的同类和平相处。
小到两人之间的争吵，大到国与国之间的战争。

一只惊天动地的虫子 我对虫子是不陌，小时菜园和森林中，见过形形色色的虫绿色的软绵绵的喜欢吊在杨树上的毛毛虫，爱在菜园中飞来飞去的有着漂亮的壳的花大姐，以及在树缝中养尊处优的肥美白色虫子，都曾带给我许多乐趣。
我曾用树枝挑着绿色的毛毛虫去吓唬比我年幼的小孩子，曾在菜园中提了花大姐将它放到透明的玻璃中，看它金红色夹杂着黑色线条的光亮的外衣，曾经抠过树缝中的虫子，将它投到火里，品尝它的滋味--想着啄木鸟喜欢吃的东西，一定甘美异常。
至于在路上和田间无所顾忌，想踩死一只就踩死一只，仿佛虫子是大自然中最低贱的生灵，践踏它们是天经地义的。

我以为它会接受教训，掉头而去了，谁料它重整旗鼓后选择的又是攀登

它不屈不挠地爬，又循环往复地被摔下来，可是它不惧疼痛，依然为了它的目标而奋斗着。
有一回，它已经爬了两尺来高了，可最终还是摔了下来，它在地板上打滚，好久也翻不过身来，它的触角乱抖着，像被狂风吹拂的野草。
我便伸出一根手指，轻轻地帮它翻过身来，并且把它推到离佛龛远些的地方。
