d) 长句的变通碰到长句时，更加要设法在语法上变通处理，使之明白易懂。
在这种情况下，通常使用断句、倒装、拆句三种方法来加以处理。
1) 断句法For this reason I request that if the debate is to continue, we have a recess of an hour, and I say this in my own name, but I am certain there are others who have been here since the beginning of this meeting and who feel that if the meeting is to continue it would be fair to have a recess, even if it is only one hour.因此，如果要继续辩论，我要求休会一小时。
我这句话是以我个人的名义说的。

英文翻译成中文应注意的技巧有什么
首先你要理解英文的吧..最简单的什么用pasttense,presenttense,presentperfect,pastperfect,1stconditional,2nconditional,3rdconditionalsentences.......然后就是认识单词才会翻译正确。
句子和英文句子的排版都不一样所以翻译时要注意句子的前后问答主语宾语等.....学多点连接词例如that,afterthat,meanwhile,dueto,because,forexample,despite,while,ontheotherhand等等....然后就是重组句子在拼装直到你觉得读起来挺顺口就行了...看多点中英对译的书是最好的。
先看英文版，就算不明也要看完它然后看中文版再看英文就行了
